Harmful Foods And Drinks In Pregnant Diet

I said that, I paid attention my diet in my pregnancy period very much. Along foods I paid attention drinks too much. For example, my daily caffeine consumption wasn’t over 200 milligrams. Because my doctor recommended me to decrease caffeine consumption.

A high level of caffeine intake may lead to a decrease in your baby’s weight or abortion. At the same time, alcohol is added to the bloodstream of the unborn baby through the placenta, and a high amount of alcohol intake can cause serious harm to your baby. Avoid drinking alcohol if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant.

Taking alcohol can reduce your chances of pregnancy. Don’t ever eat soft cheeses with moldy outer surface, Brie and Camembert, blue cheese can be given as an example and don’t eat any kind of meat or vegetable pate because, these foods may contain listerias which are quite dangerous bacteria.  Don’t eat Atlantic swordfish, shark or normal swordfish or more than 4 boxes of tuna in a week.

These fishes also contain high levels of mercury. Also, my doctor said me that, more than two portions of fatty fish in a week like fresh tuna, sardine, mackerel, trout might damage my baby’s developing nervous system because of high levels of mercury. Offal or mashed meats, such as pate or sausage contain high levels of vitamin A, which can be harmful to your unborn baby. If necessary, please be reminded that raw marine crustaceans prevent food poisoning.
